At the limit, a "Lethal Weapon" cumbersome
Mar 07
Mel Gibson long ago should have been forgotten film acting and directing more controversial. A man who has shown much less knowing how to lead and act. I prefer the Gibson's "Passion" than now, a sesentañero you need to return to action in front of the cameras may cover your next controversial film.
At the limit, half translated from "Edge of Darkness" (the edge of darkness) introduces us to Gibson, as a police investigator in Boston and year entrance hall is visited by his daughter, which knows little or nothing . That same night, her daughter will die (not going to tell you how, it is quite shocking and Inseperable) and he, with the trauma of his death, began to investigate, what most innovative screenplay, eh?.
Gradually we will be revealing a truth about the service corporations of the nation's dirty governments, aid to political campaigns - do not you remember the Spanish scene?. Obviously is not as reliable as I say, but last touches all these issues.
Regarding the movie, in my opinion, the script is quite convoluted and the characters are anything to go by clarifying the plot against the clock as a frame with corporations (not Dermoestética) involved, could not be resolved in 120 min. having more shootings and scenes using tear gas by the Lethal Weapon actor.
It could have been a great movie style of Play , Body of Lies , The Firm , Wag the Dog , The dilemma (the latter two incredible films ever there), but no capacity to engage seriously Mel and " need "the director-if we see some of his films: Casino Royale (007) , The Legend of Zorro , Vertical Limit , to include violence and shootings, making it a project failed thriller. If instead, you want action "made in Gibson", go ahead, you will enjoy conventional film.
